Surrey Crime Prevention Society | Enhancing Community Safety Together

The Fleetwood BIA is not only a close partner and supporter of the Surrey RCMP, but also of the Surrey Crime Prevention Society. Surrey Crime Prevention’s goals align with the Fleetwood BIA to create a safe, prosperous neighbourhood, both for businesses to run unimpeded due to the threat of crime, and for the citizens of Fleetwood to remain proud and safe in the area.

As their goal to enhance community safety in the City of Surrey, the Surrey Crime Prevention provides a service of Community Safety Tours. These Community Safety Tours are done by volunteers and they tour many public centers, like transit hubs, shopping areas, local parks, and recreation centers to maintain a watch and report suspicious activities. The volunteers also conduct education campaigns and perform vehicle audits to raise awareness on safety and security issues, such as vehicle theft.
